6.5 Roast. Kind Staff. Appalling Payment Systems. The app suggest a quick and easy way of paying for your bill. Its not. It shows you can pay via Apple Pay, you cant. You add a card and pay the bill and it doesnt show on the system in the pub. So the staff cant see the order, but youve paid the bill. Clap clap. You should remove this function and go back to the drawing board on it.
Breakfast was good but we had to wait a while at the self service counter for fried eggs, beans, and tomatoes. Didn't wait for scrambled eggs or Yorkshire puddings. Disappointed there were no hash browns, just a potato, onion, and cheese hash. Staff were good, and food was tasty
A large restaurant and pub outlet that can get very busy at peek times. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was the normal Toby standard and pricing policy. Plenty of free car parking on site. We enjoyed our visit although I feel the building decor requires updating.
First time visit. Wasn't too busy but was left waiting a while to be seated. Was then seated next to the kitchen door. Asked to move and the waitress was very good and moved us. Got drinks and food fine. Beef was full of fat and gristle and impossible to eat. After finishing waited over 40 min for someone to come to the table to order pudding. In the end had to go ask for the bill as got fed up of waiting. I think our original waitress must have finished just after seating us as she was good.
We were were a group of 30 enjoying our annual Christmas lunch. Service was fast and efficient. The food was excellent. At a busy time we were well catered for.
