Great venue. Excellent gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Attendants very friendly and helpful. Best to go if you want to swim when there aren't swimming lessons.
Nice staff, good breakfast, love the make your own pancakes machine. Shane they charge 12 for parking, that's why only 4 starts. Well laid out rooms plenty of sockets and USB chargers
Sadly we're were far from impressed with our stay on this visit, we have previously stayed at this hotel on a few occasions as is close to family in bradley stoke so very convenient and have always had a wonderful stay, not this time tho upon checking in we said that we would be having family join us for breakfast which has always been through reception at the price of 11 only to be told on it's in the restaurant and a price of 14.50 only to be told in the morning that we should have booked the night before in reception, the room was satisfactory at first only only for the bedroom light to be flashing on and off like a disco! The pillows although looking plump once laid upon sinking to nothing even with three or four of them, when rooms made up very slap dash carpet not hoovered bath not washed out although not left dirty only one bath sheet left when two guest staying etc just felt like more interested in corporate events and meetings than a normal guest which is very upsetting as we love this hotel and was brought as part Christmas present for family member, for pricing sadly say not as great service as past experienced
Overall, everything about the place was good apart from the screaming children that understandably, it would be hard for them to do much about.The food was amazing and extremely filling with the only complaint being that the 'triple pudding' being more double than triple.The staff were very friendly, welcoming, understanding and respectful in everything that they did. They did manage to majorly undercharge us for some drinks that we ordered, no complaints there.The building was very tidy and clean and showed lots of signs that it was looked after very well. It was in no way run down and the Christmas tree that is in the middle of the lobby was a very central part of the room which at this time of year completed the look.So to summarise, good food, good staff and a good location with very little to complain about.Make sure that you have taken a look at the photos that are attached to this review to get an idea for the food.
Despite our car breaking down our stay was good, friendly staff so very helpful. Room was spacious and clean endless supplies of towels especially as our children were in and out the pool. Pet friendly our dog loved it and settled well. Breakfast was plentiful ..filled us all up nicely. Overall staff were really helpful and hotel was beautiful would definitely stay here again just minus the car dramas .
